ZJ Donation Features
- Campaign: Allows admin to add unlimited campaigns from the back-end of ZJ Donation and keep track of donation progress for each campaign. In front-end of ZJ Donation, visitors will see the list of campaigns and information of each campaign, such as: Campaign name, short description, addition description, Start Date, End Date, Goal (Target amount), Donated Amount, Donors Information, Gallery…
- Custom fields: ZJ Donation is default in collecting only basic information of donors on donation form: First name, Last name, Address, City… The custom field feature allows administrator to define custom fields to collect more information of donors. ZJ Donation currently supports the following custom fields: Textbox, Textarea, Dropdown (single and multiple select lists), checkbox list, radio list, DateTime, Heading (used to group fields), and Message. You can select custom fields for each campaign and sort it easily in create new campaign layout.
- Donation Management: This feature allows you manage all the donations received in back-end interface. This will help you to keep informed the information of donors for each campaign, the amount donated and the total amount received.
- My Donations: This feature allows donor can manage his donations and print invoice from front-end if need.
- Multiple Templates system: This is a very handy feature for you. It helps you to create a total unique and different interface comparing to other websites. If you want to change ZJ Donation’s interface, simply copy the folder “components/com_zj_donation/templates/default” to “components/com_zj_donation/templates/yourtemplate”. Then change the interface in folder “yourtemplate”. Even if you don’t know about programming, just have a little experience in using HTML & CSS, you can customize your interface without any difficulty. At present, on interface page displaying campaign, we provide you with 3 layouts for 3 different displaying styles:
+ Default layout: displaying each campaign in a line and showing that product’s key information.
+ Blog layout: displaying campaigns as blog: column, number, intro, heading…
+ Table layout: displaying campaigns in a table, with short information about those campaigns.
– Multi-payment gateways support: Currently, ZJ Donation is being supported by Paypal and 2CheckOut payment gateways. We will continue on working and adding more payment gateways for this product in the near future.
- Flexible config options: There are many config options which can be changed from ZJ Donation Backend. That makes ZJ Donation become a flexible extension. Some of the important config parameters are:
+ General Configuration: Setting general configuration for your ZJ Donation system (We created a default configuration when installing, you can change it yourself easily).
+ Email: Setting emails when donors place a donation on your site, when they donate successfully for their campaign… you can use tags like {full_info}, {payment_method}, {campaign_name},…in email to get dynamic information for email. (Please check “email fields.txt” to get fully email tags)
+ Message: Displaying notification when donors donate successfully.
+ Permission & Integration: Mapping between fields on order form and JomSocial or Community Builder and setting permission for users.
- JomSocial integration: Auto-fill fields on donation form (first name, last name…) from data stored in JomSocial profile so that user won’t have to re-enter these essential data.
- Community member integration: Auto-fill fields on donation form (first name, last name …) from data stored in CB profile so that user won’t have to re-enter these essential data.
- Social Share buttons: Users can share campaigns with their friends via many social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- 100% MVC model: As you already know, Joomla 1.5 does not use entirely MVC model, but for ZJ Donation, it does. And if you are a developer, it is extremely easy to understand as for you to customize in both back-end and front-end.
